It was almost storytime in Mrs. Flamingozip's class when someone sneezed on Little Doggins. Mrs. Flamingozip decided to read a story about germs and viruses. Capturing the interest and curiosity of Little Doggins and two of his classmates, Little Owlfin and Little Elephanta, to find out more about germs, this is how the Virus Busters team gets started. This team decided to share knowledge of how to stop spreading germs to the town of Animalsville. They soon had so many people helping it was easy to go door to door giving out posters and information the animal people needed. The Virus Busters team gets the job done. Virus Busters: Animalsville by Virtuous N. Cornwall will have your child giving you pointers on how to stay safe in our world today, especially as we continue to strive during this pandemic we are going through.

What a fabulous idea to use a classroom of adorable animals to teach children not only about germs and viruses, but to help them show others around them how to protect themselves. I love how this team has everyone working together as one to do their important job. Pardeep Mehra does a fantastic job with the sweet illustrations, capturing the characters and their expressions perfectly in the moment. Oh, how we need a book like Virtuous N. Cornwall's Virus Busters: Animalsville to teach our children healthy and lasting habits to help stay safe. I feel this is a book that needs to be everywhere. And it is a must in all children's environments. Daycare, preschools, kindergarten classes, this book needs to be in your classroom at all times, reading to your children daily.
