We All Poot is a children’s book by Jake Reynolds. As the title suggests, the topic will be very familiar to both kids and adults alike. There are many terms for it, and whether we like to admit it or not, we all do it. This book shows the young and the old (and even animals) “pooting” from all over the world. Written with playful rhymes and with simple yet colorful illustrations, this humorous book with a very true subject matter will surely be a hit among kids.

While some of us have never heard the term “poot” before, we can all understand and relate to the concept of the book. Not only is it amusing, but it also shows young readers the idea of diversity. We are able to see people from all over the world doing something we all do. In a humorous way, it shows that we aren’t all that different from each other. I really liked that part of the book. Of course, kids will find it hilarious to read a book about “pooting,” but they can also learn that children from other places in the world are just like them. I also really enjoyed the rhymes. Most people, especially kids and adults like myself, love rhymes. It makes reading fun. And these rhymes, specifically, had me smiling and laughing because they were creative and funny. Jake Reynolds is definitely a talented children’s author, and We All Poot clearly shows that. I recommend this to kids and adults with a sense of humor.
