Where Am I Going was written to help people find themselves and where they are spiritually. Even when one is really happy and life is going well, something is still missing in one's inner life if he/she hasn't found where he/she stands spiritually. Michelle Cromer took a leave of absence from work to complete her journey of finding her inner spiritual self. On her journey, she found that there are seven stages in the search for truly finding oneself: The Wake-up Call; Denial and Fear; The Search for Deeper Spiritual Meaning; The Dark Night of the Soul; Spiritual Surrender; The Clarity Moment and Where Am I Going. The author explains in detail what happened in her life as she went through each of these stages. Join Michelle on her journey, find out where she goes, the experiences she has and what she finds.

I found this book interesting, though in some areas I didn’t always view this journey as the author views it. I appreciated the emphasis she puts on the importance of prayer and surrendering to God in order to find where one is spiritually. She fully explains the process of surrendering in a way that one can easily understand. This book is well written; it is a serious subject yet has humor thrown in to make it a more enjoyable read. I think this would make a good study!
