Where Did Grandpa Go? (Grandpa's Stories) by Mrs. D. is an amusing and adventurous book for young children. A young boy tells the story of how his Grandpa is always disappearing. It all starts when the boy's Grandma asks Grandpa to go to the ice cream shop for some yummy ice cream. As time passes, Grandma becomes worried and frantically phones around, asking if anyone has seen or heard from him. Unfortunately, no one has, but the worry Grandma felt is soon over as Grandpa calls her and tells her he is in Washington, DC as they have "the best ice cream in the United States." All is forgotten until Grandma asks Grandpa to go out again, this time for delicious pizza! Where will Grandpa end up this time?

Where Did Grandpa Go? (Grandpa's Stories) was great fun to read. This talented author has created a book full of adventure and mystery. Children will love reading about the different places Grandpa wanders off to and will enjoy the illustrations that Saima Malik has created. The writing is simple and will allow children to read along easily, making the book that much more enjoyable. I loved every page and I hope to read more of Mrs. D.'s stories in the future as I'm sure she has more to tell. Keep up the good work and good luck to both of you moving forward.
