Lovers of mystery murder novels will not get enough of Elisabeth Links’ Who Killed Nia Johnes? With an intriguing plot, the author bases the storyline on a tale of scientists, medical research, a hitman, sleuths, betrayal, blackmail, deceit, and espionage. The tone of the account and the ingenious plot twists kept me on the edge of my seat, turning page after page. Just when I thought I was close to solving a piece of the mystery, the story would pick up pace and move in another direction, complicating the already tangled web of mystery. The evocative and colorful descriptions brought the scenes to life. In the drama of all the chasing and investigations, Links ensured that I got to savor the breathtaking view of the hills above Redwood City, California, and the beautiful architecture. The emotions and abilities of the role players are compellingly depicted, allowing me to connect with them. There is suspense, thrills, and adventure.
