Why? by Elena Kayne is the story of a 3-year-old girl called Ella and her adventures in discovering the answers to 'why?' in her and her mommy's daily routine. She asks her mommy why they must have breakfast, go to the potty, have playtime outside, wash dishes, make and eat dinner, have bathtime, and brush their teeth, including questions about the moon, sun, and day and night. Ella's humorous questions and observations give rise to her mother's equally funny responses. This children's storybook is relatable to parents and children. It will spark more questions and conversations, getting children to communicate about their daily activities and even contemplate their questions based on their unique routines. Why? is an educational yet entertaining book for children.

Why? by Elena Kayne is a delightful, feel-good, and lighthearted storybook. The colorful and beautiful illustrations will keep children engaged, while the poetic prose will make this an enjoyable bedtime read. The author took children's everyday activities and turned them into a topic of conversation. This will enable parents to help children improve not only their language skills, like speaking, but also help them analyze situations with the question Why? and encourage them to draw logical conclusions as Ella does. I enjoyed reading this book; it is beautifully written, simple yet poetic and engaging. The bright, striking, and funny illustrations add further interest to the content, perfectly complementing the narrative. Ella is a lovable, curious, and witty character that children will build a connection with and enjoy reading about.

Why? is a children’s picture book adventure by Elena Kayne. Ella is a three-year-old girl who is curious about everything she sees. She wants to know how much toilet paper the roll has so she unravels it to find out. Why does the moon disappear? Why is the egg yolk yellow? These are questions Ella wants answers to and she constantly barrages her mother with much more as her curiosity increases. Ella’s mother is patient and calmly answers the endless questions so that her daughter will understand. Ella frowns when her hands become wrinkly in the bath and asks her mother why it happened. Is that why Grandma has wrinkles too? There are so many other things she wants to learn about but it is time for her to go to bed. Why?

Ella is like many children her age who are curious to know more about things they see. Elena Kayne dedicated this cute story to her daughter who was just like Ella, always asking “Why?” This is a fun rhyming story in a poem with beautiful illustrations by Tetiana Matikiv to match each scene. I like the patient, loving way Ella’s mother responds, and I think it is important for some parents and teachers to remember that we were this age once and wanted to know more about things that puzzled us. Why? by Elena Kayne is a short and charming picture book that children in the kindergarten age group will like a lot. Recommended.

Children are curious by nature, especially as toddlers, when they are full of questions and want to better understand the world around them. Why? by Elena Kayne follows a precocious three-year-old girl named Ella who wakes up one morning and wonders about things like how much toilet paper is in a roll, does the sun push the moon out of the sky, why a cloud looks like a butterfly, or why do we have to eat vegetables? Most of her queries are directed at her mother, someone she knows loves her unconditionally. Throughout Ella's seemingly endless array of questions, her mother remains patient and indulges her child's curiosity with thoughtful answers that fuel Ella's broad imagination and energetic spirit. But a question remains that even moms can't answer.

Why? offers readers a rare perspective on how children view the world and their surroundings. Through colorful artwork and an engaging narrative, Elena Kayne taps into the mind of a child to showcase how magical the world and its wonders are if only we can learn how to appreciate them. This is the perfect bedtime story for parents to read to their kids. Focusing on the relationship between Ella and her mother, Kayne captures the heartwarming dynamic of a mother-daughter duo exploring the extraordinary possibilities of the world with their imaginations and creativity. Throughout the story, Ella's mother continues to nurture and encourage Ella's curiosity and interests, which I found adorable and very relatable. The beautiful illustrations give life to the characters and make them shine. In conclusion, this is a children's picture book that entertains as well as inspires.

Growing up, kids tend to have a lot of questions. They question why we do certain things the way we do them or why some things happen the way they happen. Meet Ella who is as inquisitive as a kid can get. Ella wants to know why the sun shines during the day and not the moon. Why is the grass so green and why must her family eat vegetables every night? Ella wonders why the middle of her egg is yellow and why it wiggles like jello. Why do her wrinkles go away when she drys off but her grandma’s wrinkles never go away, and a lot more questions. Get yourself Elena Kayne’s Why? to discover what answers Ella’s mother has to Ella’s questions.

If you are looking for a children’s picture book with a touch of educational aspect and adventure, you will love Elena Kayne’s Why? Elena’s choice of words is comprehensive yet enlightening. These will give your child new vocabulary and a sharper grasp of the English language. The use of rhymes makes the reading experience fun. This, coupled with the colorful images that complement the text, will have kids’ eyes glued to the pages, flipping through one after the other. Via Ella’s story, kids are taught that it’s okay not to know some things and it is also okay to question the things they don’t understand. This is the only way they learn new things and have a better understanding of their environment.

Why? by Elena Kayne is a delightful read for children and their parents. Three-year-old Ella is a very curious girl. She loves to ask her mom the same question, "Why?" about everything that attracts her attention. Ella wonders what happens to the moon when the sun is up. She asks her mom if the moon is made of cheese and why the sun sets in the evening. Ella jokingly asks if her mom was little "a million years ago." When she goes for a walk, she sees a butterfly in the shape of a cloud, and when she takes her bath, her wrinkled skin puzzles her. But the most wonderful thing is that Ella's mom knows the answers to all these questions!

Elena Kayne wrote Why? in rhyme. This writing style will help hold children's attention until the end of this funny and beautiful story. Tetiana Matikiv's vibrant illustrations make the characters come alive. Why? enhances children's creative thinking as Ella sees unusual shapes in the clouds and compares the moon to cheese. Why? motivates children to eat healthy food as Ella asks her mom about the vegetables on her plate. Elena adds a touch of humor to the narrative while lovingly describing Ella's day. Ella's observations are straight to the point and often make us smile. Why? is inspirational not only for children but also for their parents. Ella's mom loves interacting with her outgoing and cheerful daughter. Ella shows us that everyday activities like having breakfast, taking a bath, or walking the dog can be fascinating. Overall, Why? is a heartwarming book that reminds us of our childhood.
