Written On Stone – What We’ve Experienced And Why – The Story of Prevenient Grace is a work of non-fiction focusing on Christian and biblical themes with a view to understanding the true nature of the word of God as laid down at the time of writing, and was penned by author Denver Lee Pigman. Now written in its Second Edition, the book offers no reinterpretation or new angle on the scriptures, but rather explores our perception and understanding of what the word of God should mean according to the historical time period and the situation in which they were originally penned. Through this, the author explores the nature of faith, truth and our relationship with God.

Author Denver Lee Pigman has had a lot of time and opportunity to explore the Bible and the many philosophical concepts surrounding God and the human race’s many experiences with him. Those thoughts and feelings are beautifully and intelligently expressed throughout this relatively short but jam-packed read of deep and important thoughts. The formatting and chapter structure allow Pigman to build on different ideas in stages, enabling even a novice to the Bible to understand the salient and more poignant points which are made as the book’s ideology develops. What results is a really helpful and well thought out look at the nature of truth, sin, confession and everything in between, which in turn is sure to strengthen the relationship of any reader with God. Overall, Written On Stone is an accomplished read for Christians everywhere to further explore their faith.

Written On Stone: What We’ve Experienced and Why by Denver Lee Pigman is an inspirational book that explores the ultimate nature of God and how He manifests Himself as the Truth. From the very start, the author claims that this book isn’t designed to provide a new interpretation of the Bible. “The premise of this book looks at truth as the nature and presence of a person. Specifically, this book looks at truth as the presence of the person of God Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.” The author explores God’s desire to reconcile humanity unto Himself and looks at how God reveals the mystery of the Kingdom of God. If God is Truth, how can we understand Him? How do we find Him and relate to Him?

Written On Stone answers some of the questions we ask and unveils the nature of God as Truth that can be understood in a relationship. The reader will understand concepts like anger from a purely human perspective, explore the mystery of life, and find clues to the Truth hidden in our language. Denver Lee Pigman provides a path to seek the Truth in a fallen world, expounding at the same time on the reality of bondage and the ultimate path towards a healthy relationship with God who is the Truth. This is a very interesting book that covers the essential elements of Christian living and how to understand God. Written On Stone: What We’ve Experienced and Why is well-researched and written in an accessible style. The book contains topics that are interesting for Bible Study groups and individual reading. It is packed with wisdom and references that render the message clear and convincing.

The book is an in-depth and thought-provoking exploration of His word, providing a stunning resource for Sunday school, Bible study, and personal exploration that allows you to meditate and think about where you need to be in life. Pigman draws poignant points that weave from how He has made it possible to experience Him fully to gaining the knowledge of God and a deeper perspective on truth, hope, and true freedom.
