Author Biography

I have a sociology degree and a teaching credential, but my unusual experiences throughout life have fashioned my writing. In my middle years, as a minister’s wife questioning church doctrines, my outreach was in forming human relations groups, being active in anti-war groups and writing articles on spirituality, race and war.
When word of these interests reached leaders at our last church in an all-white community, I was told to stop these activities and to shake hands at the door, pour tea at socials, and teach the younger children. So I took a teaching job and the next year we left the ministry.
Disillusioned with the church and my marriage, I became disillusioned with life itself when our 16 year old son, Kevin was suddenly killed. Then two months later our divorce became final. I poured myself into teaching for several years before opening two Pre-School, Kindergarten and Day-Cares of my own.
Then came my life’s biggest challenge. I decided, after reading many books on life-after-death, to see if I could reach Kevin through channeling. And, indeed, he was re-born in my life! Kevin involved me in a missing child case by divulging the names of three men involved.
So, with this proof of continued contact, I began channeling pages of wisdom daily on my computer. The result: my newly published book, Ye Gods! How the World Really Works".
My husband, writing and animals are my three passions.

How do you write a book about God but not the God you learned about in Sunday School, but about the God in each of us – and how this makes us Gods ourselves? Although it might not be the easiest task to undertake, this is exactly what Betsy Jo Miller has done. In her book "Ye Gods! How the world REALLY Works" the author has put into writing the words of Kaju, an entity from what the author calls another realm. As Miller channels Kaju, we as readers get to take part of Kaju’s insights about such subjects as consciousness, purpose, inner strength, happiness, karma, love, life and after-life.

The content of the book “Ye Gods! How the world REALLY Works” reminds me very much of the work of the well-known Abraham, an entity channeled through Ester Hicks. Just as with Ester Hicks works of Abraham, the author Betsy Jo Miller manages in a very personal, humorous and inspirational way to share not only her own personal life story and thoughts but also Kaju’s wisdom to the readers. Miller’s style of writing, with a dialogue between her and Kaju, makes this book very easy and interesting to read. I am also deeply impressed by the fact that the author manages very well to keep a red line throughout the book as she shifts through a huge variety of profound life questions. Very well done! For someone who’s on a spiritual journey this book will surely be a great source of inspiration and encouragement.
