"Zion + US = Perpetual War" is a collaborative effort of four engineers/academics who have spent three decades in the Middle East. They contend that, although the US support of Israel may initially have been well-intentioned, the point has now arrived that such unconditional support is counterproductive. Indeed, the support is undermining the reputation of the United States and putting the country at risk for terrorist retaliation. The authors contend that, without US support of Israel, there would be no war on terrorism. Further, the authors say that the policies to end terrorism have failed dismally and that there are "terrorists on both sides and both are wrong." They base their contentions on observations and interviews. Their observations suggest that Israel is not a democracy. Instead, the country is "an elitist, apartheid state" in which all immigrants must be Jewish. The authors do state that it is the Israeli Zionists (and not the general population) who have succeeded in leading the US government astray, both politically and emotionally, and that the Zionist lobbyists have forced financial compromise on the US as well.

Though the Jewish faith is declining worldwide, the authors suggest that the influence of the Zionists is increasing to a disproportionate level. They conclude that the only feasible way to allow the US to spiral out of their unconditional support and allow matters to be settled is to insist that the US force Israel to settle up with the Palestinians. This is a book for scholars and may be a difficult read for the general population.
