What is an E-Query?
If you want to get your book out to agents and publishers, you have to send them what's known as a Query Letter. It is a short letter about your book. With the popularity of email, most agents and publishers now prefer to receive your query by email, thus the E-Query was born.
We will provide you with your own E-Query expert who will help you create a compelling E-Query, then we will send it out to 1,000 agents and publishers who have agreed to receive E-Query proposals.
Your E-Query will be sent using your email address so that it will appear that you sent the email and so all responses will go directly to you.
You will also receive a list of the names of all the agents and publishers your E-Query will be sent to.
What kind of response can I expect?
Once we send your E-Query you will begin receiving responses almost immediately, which will continue for about a month. Of course, whether these responses are positive or negative will depend on whether you and your book are of interest to the agent or publisher.
You will not receive a response from each person we email, and sadly most of the responses you do receive will be rejection letters. But by emailing so many agents and publishers, hopefully you will find a good number that find your book interesting.
One month promotion in our Featured Book rotator
We will add your book cover to the Featured Book rotator for one month.
Our Featured Book rotator is at the top left of every page on our site and rotates randomly through all our Featured Books. When a book cover is clicked it will take the visitor to the book's Readers Favorite review page.
It is positioned to attract the attention of our thousands of weekly visitors, many of whom are agents, publishers and publicists who are here viewing reviews we have done for their authors or submitting requests for new reviews. We are also visited by bloggers and journalists who have read our press releases and are visiting to see our Award Winning books, as well as authors and people just looking for a good book to read.
We do not sell this advertising space; we provide it to our authors as a perk for purchasing any of our Author Services to help them promote their book. By not selling the space we keep the number of images down, which provides those in the rotator more screen time.
How do I get started?
Submit the form below with your payment of $95.00 and we will contact you to get started. Once your E-Query is ready, we will send it out within 1-2 days, depending on other E-Query orders.
We will add your book cover to our Featured Book rotator as soon as your query has gone out.
We find that many agents and publishers will look up the source of the reviews you include in your query. Since Readers Favorite will most likely be one of them, we want the agents/publishers to be impressed by your review and by the fact that you are advertising it.
