Highly skilled, with a secret advantage, Ramsey and his girlfriend April return to Jerusalem to begin the hunt for the man responsible for destroying ancient tombs in his effort to gain supernatural power from a fallen angel. With no regard for human life or the importance of these historic sites, Markovich devotes himself to defying the Bible by eliminating the remains of the most significant biblical figures. Ramsey and April will stop at nothing to find and remove the threat Markovich poses. With the backing of the Israeli army and international troops, do they have enough to find and fight Markovich without becoming victims of his insatiable quest for power?
A wonderful combination of creativity and biblical history, The Lost Prophet by James B. McPike is a great read. Vivid descriptions, intense action and an amazing glimpse at life in the Middle East, past and present, hold your attention and keep the pages turning. Vince Ramsey is a true action hero but with a background in biblical studies as well as archaeology, psychology and criminal justice, not to mention complete dedication to preserving history. A cross between Indiana Jones and James Bond, Ramsey is a character who really brings the story to life.
