Have you ever wanted to know the date of the earliest documented snowman? Ever wondered about which world city is the least polluted? If your curiosity spans many different topics in both the natural and man-made world, then Guinness World Records 2016 is the book for you! The pages are colorful and contain lots of short, easy to read paragraphs that are packed with interesting information. I loved how the photographs and the graphics brought the facts to life. I especially enjoyed the sections on the Earth and animals, but there is enough information in this book to keep you reading until the new edition comes out next year.

Guinness World Records 2016 has something for all readers. Whatever your interests are, there are fascinating facts in this book for you. As a middle school English teacher, I always keep a copy of the most current Guinness World Records book in my classroom. My students love to read the amazing facts, look at the colorful images, and learn about things that interest them. What I like best about Guinness World Records books is that my students don’t realize that they are actually learning when they read them. Guinness World Records has evolved over the years into a pop culture staple that readers of all ages can enjoy.
