Epiphany – The Silvering by Sonya Deanna Terry picks up where The Golding leaves off with another budding romance. Meanwhile Rosetta Melki is making discoveries about both her early childhood and the secret project one of her friends has been working on, a project that could play a significant role in the world as they know it. Amidst what appears to be chaos, Matthew jumps on board with Rosetta’s Our True Ancient History book-study group. When letters written by the Our True Ancient History author in the 1700s are discovered, Matthew travels to the UK to visit a chapter of their internet society. The owner of the letters allows the letters to be photographed and posted on the web. What Matthew learns from the letters has an epiphanic effect on him, especially because much of it surrounds Rosetta.

Once again, Ms. Terry does an amazing job of working the plots of both the faery world and present day as the characters come to realize they have many past lives that are being connected through the Dream Sphere where the past, present and future exist simultaneously. When a ghost from Matthew’s past pays him a visit, Matthew is down on his luck and solemn, but the blast from the past reveals their true identities. Sonya’s powerful writing style continues to weave a tale that is sure to become a cult favorite. It has everything you could want from fantasy, mixing fiction with the real-life tragedies of today. The author could not have picked a more suitable title for this brilliantly entertaining masterpiece. Epiphany – The Silvering is the grand finale of its predecessor. Captivating, wondrous and uplifting. All I can say is Wow!

Continuing smoothly, Epiphany: The Silvering picks up where volume one Epiphany: The Golding by Sonya Deanna Terry left off. Eidred, Princess of Grudella, and Pieter of the elfin sprites are ready to fulfill their destiny. With the ability to look over past lives and into the future when visiting the Dream Sphere, it is clear that a preordained plan is working out – one which leads the ancients to modern times through reincarnation and full realization. Rosetta Melki, the driving force behind the Friday Fortnight book club, continues to post information about the life of Edward Lillibridge, the author of Our True Ancient History. Letters from Lillibridge to his sister shed more light on the book and seem to confirm the merging of the past with this group of people in the present. Through a series of apparent coincidences, multifaceted interconnections and universal intervention, the right people are drawn to the right places and an unusual treasure is unearthed, but the question is whether the characters will recognize the connections or if the opportunity to change the course of mankind will be lost.

Extremely complex yet easy to read and follow, Epiphany: The Silvering by Sonya Deanna Terry is an amazing story that combines ancient myth, fairy tales and modern issues together in a tremendous promise for the future. Exceptionally well developed characters and a dual plot that merges the past together with the present provide plenty of interest, excitement and enlightenment. The premise of the story, a harmonious world based on the Currency of Kindness, offers a true fantasy wonderland where there is no war, poverty, hatred or hunger – all from the willingness of people to share equitably from a position of trust and love. You can’t help but feel uplifted as the story unfolds so it is well worth reading – and more than once!

Epiphany - The Silvering: A Return to the Currency of Kindness by Sonya Deanna Terry is a monumental achievement. In a way it is the secret history of mankind but so much more. It is a love story with all the ups and downs that usually come with those, but also a mystery and a quest with an alternate history thrown in for good measure. I strongly recommend that any interested reader start with the previous work so as not to get lost and confused. This didn't happen to me, but since this story has so many interesting characters from so many eras and dimensions, it is certainly a possibility. The clear writing and well defined characters keep this risk to a minimum though. This is what makes The Silvering a clear and concise work, even though the story moves back and forth through time and space. I am in awe of Sonya Deanna Terry's ability to guide the reader from Australia to England and from the spiritual realm to the world of finance.

At its core, The Silvering is the triumph of kindness and compassion over the false value of material worth. It is the long story of how mankind became so materialistic and our struggle to change that. If this sounds fascinating to you and you are something of a romantic, then I highly suggest you grab a copy of The Silvering and immerse yourself in the lives of Matthew, Rosetta, and all their friends and enemies as they struggle to lead us to a new Silver Age.
