Fly With Me: Adventure, Romance, Drama & Love is a work of fiction based around some non-fiction events and was penned by author Cortney Edwards. Told with the unique narrative style of a literal fly on the wall, this collection of moments from the lives of different people in different situations showcases the dramas and affairs of the heart that people go through every day. The fly in question, Sir Famous, befriends the explorer Bassaduer after following him around, and so begins their unique friendship, which is also narrated among Sir Famous’s variety of experiences.
Fans of quirky, weird fiction and interpersonal drama are sure to find an intriguing cross-section in the work of author Cortney Edwards. The linguistic style is immediate and speedy, just what one might expect from the narrative perspective of a fly zipping around a room, and the content covers just about all aspects of everyday, realistic life that you can think of. There are many relatable moments of family and romantic drama, as well as comedic and more mundane scenes that make the overall journey feel like a collection of short stories with the common thread of friendship.
