Sandra was born to an elderly couple that had been trying to have kids for a very long time. Her parents loved and cherished her to no end, but they were soon to find out the true nature of what they had brought into the world. From as early as four years old, Sandra's dark side started to show, but everyone shrugged it off as accidental acts of an innocent child. Sheltered by the love of her doting parents, Sandra's dark side continued to manifest itself. Eventually, her parents started to realise that her barbaric acts were more than just a child's innocent mistakes. They knew that there was something dangerously off about their beautiful child's behaviour. Sandra wanted what she wanted when she wanted it and never hesitated in getting rid of anyone who stood in her way. Killing an opponent was not just a means to getting what she wanted but also gave her immense pleasure. Somehow, Sandra always managed to get away with her crimes, until someone detected a pattern. But Sandra was as cunning as she was dangerous and nailing her would not be an easy task.
Green Eyes Black Heart by Raymond Doyen is a sinister story written to portray a character that is dark beyond imagination. The contrast between Sandra's looks and her dark side is something I found really interesting. It was fascinating to see how a person so beautiful could be so evil; for she was as dangerous as she was attractive. The story gives true meaning to the statement 'all that glitters is not gold'. How she could carry out such dreadful acts and then continue to live her life like nothing had gone wrong is just beyond human comprehension, and yet Raymond Doyen made it believable. Green Eyes Black Heart by Raymond Doyen is truly dark and twisted, depicting the emotional workings of a psychopathic maniac with no ounce of remorse in her body. Fans of fictions thrillers will love this book.
