In Revive by Tricia T. La Rochelle, a missing girl, Carrie Stevens, has never been found. The main characters are Sara, Scott, Sara’s friend Amy and her boyfriend Luke, Jason – Scott’s friend and his girlfriend Heather, Abigail and Joel, Sara’s adopted family, along with Dr. Adams, a professor of Art at the university, and Sheriff Murphy. Other characters make brief appearances but every character that appears in this book has a place even if it is only very small.

In Revive by Tricia T. La Rochelle, the author has written a book that grabs the reader from the first page to the last. Tricia has taken a subject that is the bane of every woman’s life and created a most compelling story in its simplicity and direct and honest telling. Tricia has written brutal facts with sensitivity and brought to light how so many rules and regulations hamper the people that are supposed to be there to protect others and be able to do their jobs efficiently. Revive captures the reader who will find that they cannot put the book down until they get to the end to find out what has happened to the various characters. It is compelling reading and the ending is delightful. Be warned that if you have any special plans for dinner, get takeout because you will not be cooking that night. I have found this book very inspirational and rewarding to read. Thank you, Tricia, for a lovely story of adventure, detective work, and love. Well done.
