The Greatest Fleecing of America: Veterans Disability Compensation by S.D. Price is written 'for the enlightenment of American taxpayers, the President, top officials in the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Government Accountability Office, all Congressmen, and anyone in a position to influence or decide how our federal tax dollars are spent.' The book throws light on how this program does not in any way help the genuinely disabled war veterans and crushes their morality and integrity but also how it destroys the will of the young veterans to work and support themselves. The author thinks these regulations and policies must change and he exposes the atrocities of the current VA compensation program.
The Greatest Fleecing of America speaks about the many problems with the VA disability compensation system and the three main reasons why the program has to be investigated and revamped. It is also about the everyday claims and decisions being processed at the VA benefits offices. S.D. Price discusses the topic extensively, giving useful insights about the program which reveals how the program is riddled with fraud and unreasonable policies of over-granting benefits. The author covers all dimensions related to the topic, giving a lot of clarity on the nuances and finer details which makes it easy for readers to understand what exactly the Veterans Disability Compensation is all about. It is quite an informative book for those readers looking for information on VA compensation and makes them realize that the greatest fleecing of America will stop only if they stop the abuse of this entitlement program.
