The Solution is Political Revolution: Who is Jillion R. Rising by Jillion R. Rising seeks to explain the intricacies of the monetary system, both in the U.S. and worldwide. Starting with the premise that the U.S. and indeed the entire fiat money system is on the verge of financial meltdown, the author explains that this is an orchestrated and planned event by those in power – no, not the politicians (although they indeed are corrupt and self-serving and just as guilty) but the powers that control Wall Street and the banking system who are bleeding American citizens dry. The author explains in detail how successive governments using the taxpayer’s money have recklessly overspent for decades, ensuring that the country is on the verge of financial collapse. The author will take the reader through a detailed analysis of how this has occurred. Unusually, for a book such as this, the author offers concrete, if somewhat controversial solutions to stopping this descent into poverty before it is too late and it becomes the U.S. who is required to go “cap in hand” to the IMF for a financial bailout and the resultant pain, austerity, suffering and, of course, government control that will ensue.
Some books are brilliant if for only one reason – they ignite conversation amongst average citizens. I believe The Solution is Political Revolution is indeed such a book. Jillion R. Rising has laid out a brilliantly succinct description of a process that many laypeople would have had trouble understanding were it not for this book. He has attempted to pinpoint and highlight the “tells” that would convince readers and me that this is not some crackpot conspiracy theory. I particularly enjoyed the sections that looked at why America was so divided and why there is a benefit to both sides of the political spectrum in keeping that so. A crisis is what governments need to lie and deceive the people and if they haven’t got one, well, they damn well better make one (shades of “Wag the Dog” here). As a reader who is not an American, I have always been totally fascinated by the oddball American Electoral System and American politics in general. I found many of the author’s comments insightful and frighteningly realistic, especially when applied to the intense political toxicity we see every day on cable news shows. I definitely experienced a lot of “aha” moments when reading this book and if it achieves nothing more than getting people talking and looking rationally at situations that have become so emotionally charged in recent years, he will have achieved a lot. Given the state of play in America and American politics right now, I can only urge every American to read this book. As the author suggests, your very freedom may well depend on it. What a fantastic book.
