Toxic Sphere: Enemy Apparent is penned by author C N Sky in the action, suspense, and thriller genres, and is the third novel in the current series. It is best suited to the general adult reading audience. This explosive continuation of the saga delves into the rise of the Back-to-Basics Club's leaders who have seized control of Cadona's military and press. The elusive Guiding Light document remains a key target, with Leeha Ritsagin as its sole protector against the Club's relentless pursuit. Meanwhile, the Club plots to dominate the world, targeting Domataland as their first conquest. President Demnar Tarish and Cadonan journalist Bob Fullerby unite in a desperate bid to find the Guiding Light and overthrow Cadona's tyrannical regime, against a backdrop of political intrigue and escalating conflict.

Author C N Sky brilliantly brings together intricate political machinations and complex character dynamics, offering a compelling exploration of cruelty and courage that flows off the page like a Hollywood blockbuster. The relentless pursuit of power is a tense through-line that is well-paced, and it certainly kept me on my toes as I enjoyed every logical yet surprising twist in the tale. The unlikely alliance between President Tarish and Fullerby was penned with cutting, dynamic dialogue, highlighting the blurred lines between friend and foe in times of crisis and characterizing each of them uniquely. Sky's skillful storytelling also extends to the atmospheric settings, which are penned with vibrant descriptive touches that match the emotional mood of each scene. The novel has left me eagerly anticipating the next twist in this gripping saga of power, betrayal, and heroism. Overall, I would highly recommend Toxic Sphere: Enemy Apparent as an exhilarating read that will thrill readers in a tense world where evil triumphs and nations fracture.
