Book Review
A Journey Into a More Intimate Faith

Come Along was written for women to assist them in a closer walk with Jesus. She examines ten encounters with Christ, among them:

• Jesus Baptism

• The adulteress woman

• The woman that touched the hem of his garment

• The women at the empty tomb

• Jesus’ rebukes the religious leaders

• The woman that anointed Jesus

She clearly demonstrates Jesus was and is a transformer.

Jane Rubietta uses personal narrative to examine Jesus’ encounters with people. She interprets 2 Corinthians 3: 18. "Come Along, is an invitation into glory—a free, fuller, more intimate relationship with Jesus." The closer you walk with him the brighter your day and bigger your smile. Rubietta includes ways to apply the message to your life. The questions are insightful. Come Along will make a difference in your life.

Jane Rubietta, in her lilting, compelling writing style, has invited her readers to "come along" on a journey that will take them deeper into the Father's heart. Complete with practical hands-on application sections, this excellent study book will quickly become a beloved devotional companion.

The author states what I've been feeling. If my faith isn't about encountering Jesus more deeply, then why do it? This book helps women explore several issues that keep us from intimate faith. In a gentle, let's dive deeper tone, Jane Rubietta invites the reader to put aside the busyness of life to remember all over again why we call ourselves believers and to honestly address the things that get in the way. I read lots of books to review for Christian Momlogic. Only a few make it to my bookshelf. This will not only find a spot on my bookshelf, but I'm using in my daily devotions.
