Book Review
All Points North is a collection of 13 short stories. Some have a serious tone to them while others are quite comical. I recognized myself in at least one of the stories. The stories contain many aspects of our daily lives: grief, anger, happiness and sorrow, behavior and attitudes, truth and hidden hurts.

As with any book of short stories there are one or two stories that stand out as being better than the others. This book is no exception. “Maxine Dolittle” and “Putting To Rest Mrs. Wood” were two of my favorites. From a sailing adventure in “All Points North” to a perverted psychologist in “Boy Freud” to the “Famous Duck Hunt” these stories will grab your interest.

There were several good points about this book. The characters were quite likable and at times I felt as if I were reading an actual event instead of a fictional story. The stories are fast paced and a short read with the longest being just twenty four pages. However, occasionally a sentence was very long and at times one whole paragraph consisted of one long sentence. They are not well organized. This book has great potential but needs work.
