Do you struggle with doubt? Do you feel guilty about your questions?
If so, then you're in good company. We all experience doubt, but it doesn't have to beat us down. It can build us up and strengthen our faith--but only when we know what to do with it. In How Can I Believe When I Have So Many Doubts? Michael Babcock offers hope for the searching heart. He assures you that doubt is common to many, but faith is an extraordinary gift that God reserves for those who ask why.
This is an interesting view for those who don't want/can't believe in God. I like the quote from this book, "Big doubts are answered by a Big God." This is a read for the unsaved or the unbelieving, not necessarily a read for the true Christian who has a relationship with God, the Father. In this read Michael Babcock brings a most descriptive and meaningful disclosure of why it's okay to doubt but why we should believe in God.
This is not an argumentative read or a slanted view on Christianity. "True faith has muscles, sinews, joints, and tendons. It reaches out and lays hold of God." A great read to increase your faith. Also, a great gift for one who may not believe in a loving God who longs to have a relationship with His creation!
I found this to be a great read for those people who seem to doubt a truly loving, living God. Mr. Babcock writes from the heart, clearly helping those with doubts to see that God wants and longs to have a relationship with them. It's a great book to encourage the believer and a grand read to give to a person struggling with doubts.
