It is the year 2042 and English Detective Constable Elise Archer is, among other things, psychic. She has visions that years before, in 2014, she was Joanna Sinclair who was killed along with her fiance, David, and their friend, Leon Morton, by David's brother Adam, an agent for GAILE, the policing arm of the MWA,or Mutual World Alliance. Joanna, David, and Leon were considered terrorists as they were followers of Hanif Omar, a professor at Hadescape University, located on Hadescape, the 207 square mile Prized Peninsula, located south of New York City and bordering New Jersey. Hanif Omar believed in world wide justice and liberty for all and had devised a successful Systems Experiment to prove his point but the MWA shut this experiment down. When they were babies, Elise, a murdering psychopath calling himself Peter Manner, and Hitoshi Katayama were implanted with brain tissues from Joanna, David, Adam and Leon. Now they have flashbacks to that time in 2014. But can they unite with rogue GAILE agent Aaron Lloyd to save themselves from certain death and find out what really happened those many years ago?

Author Saleena Karim has created a first-rate, suspenseful science fiction thriller set in future years that will keep readers on the edge of their seats as they read through each page of "Systems" to its satisfying conclusion. "Systems" is well-written with believable characters who may or may not be the bad guys one minute or the next. The plot proceeds to the story's conclusion with unexpected twists and turns as a world where the powers in control don't promote peace or concern for the environment. Brave people, risking their lives, take a stand against those in power.

I read about Ms Saleena and I thought what her parents did to help her acquire the skills she has. Could anyone please tell me more about her mother, father, sister (if any) and brother( if any)? What they do? How they support her?
