Attracting The Right Traffic To Your Blog Through Your Writing

There are many different kinds of methods that people use to attract traffic to their blog. Some methods work better than others. Depending on what you are writing about, mention someone who is a well-known figure in your niche and in turn the mentioned person will not only be glad that he or she is in your blog, but will do everything to promote it further.

Social Media

You can take your latest article and link it to Twitter and you can push social sharing further by asking others to retweet. This will help to promote your blog further and in turn will draw in much more traffic for you.

Newsletters

Make the choice to send your article out in a blast email or newsletter to all of your contacts. Keep in mind that an e-newsletter is still one of the most powerful marketing tools. Be sure to include links to your blog posts. Since you already have subscribers, this will encourage them to take a look at your blog.

Signatures Across Communication

Attach a link to your email signature and invite people to read your latest blog post. Doing this will constantly remind people of your blog posts, and if you keep continually adding new and exciting content they'll notice and pass the word on and soon you'll have plenty of more traffic coming in.

Find Relevant Networks

Take the time to send your blog post to relevant people or organizations or other blogs that would have an interest in reading it and sharing it with their networks. In turn, you offer to reciprocate by sharing or linking to a relevant post that they have. Send links to your blog post to similar niche blogs to see if there is someone who wants to link with you. This brings in their traffic to your blog and yours to theirs. Both of you get the chance to build up audiences for your blogs.

Keep Researching

There are many other kinds of methods and it is a matter of miss or hit. So take the time to try one or the other and keep a list of those that work. Check out what methods others are using and never turn your back on anything new. Once you have started getting additional traffic to your blog, remember to keep up the good work and always make sure your blog shines with additional material and is attractive to the eye. Always keep looking for additional and relevant news to post on your blog. As more traffic is coming in, make sure to keep circulating your blog among the social networks.
