What to Write about in Money

Money is a large field that could encompass everything from conversion rates to how to make money. It is for this reason that it is so important for a writer choosing to write about money to choose both a perspective and a focus. The perspective the writer chooses could be anything ranging from the average citizen, stock trader, blogger, online moneymaker, a specific career, and/or money converter. For a focus, there are numerous options. Some examples are: how to make money blogging, how to make money online, how to earn money with the stock market, how to make money with Bitcoin, the value of money, and/or money conversion.

Popular Topics

Money is no different from any other topic in that popular topics are typically those that have a current news element, a how to element, or an argument that offers multiple sides. To find currently popular topics a writer can use Google Trends. However, if the writer wants to find popular topics that are considered how to or contentious, then the writer should utilize social media, blogs, and the news to search these topics out.

All Time Favorites

While there are new topics popping up all the time in the field of money, those topics are typically about new ideas, stock changes, or involve current affairs. However, there are also topics that generally stay interesting to people because there are many different answers to the question. These answers are normally based on the perspective of the writer, which allows numerous different answers to the same question without any wrong answers. Here are five popular arguments that people are typically interested in:

1. Can a person truly make enough money to live through an online career? What are some examples of careers that allow a person to earn enough to make a living? How can a person tell if these careers are real or a scam?

2. Should the $100 bill in the United States be eliminated? What are the advantages and disadvantages? How would it affect individual people? How should it be eliminated? Should people have to turn in their $100 bills within a certain amount of time?

3. How can a person earn enough to make a living as a blogger? Is blogging a good full time career option? What about insurance and benefits?

4. Should the minimum wage be increased or decreased? If increased, what should it be increased to and why? If decreased, what amount should it be lowered to and why? Should waiters and waitresses get minimum wage in addition to their tips? Why or why not

5. How should the salaries of different careers compare to each other? For instance, should a soldier or a doctor, or a skilled professional make more than a celebrity because of the importance of their work? Should someone's salary be based only on the importance of the job or should there be other factors taken into consideration as well? Should the current salary system be altered? If yes, what should it be changed to?
