I never enjoyed Dracula in other tales as much as I did in Monsters Arise! One of the things I enjoyed was the characters' motivations. The author captures what drives both the villains and the heroes with clarity. Motivation fuels the conflict, upping the magnitude of the stakes, the level of violence, and the intensity of the action. The writing is excellent, and the descriptions are terrific. Dialogue sparkles on every page. The scenes are vividly drawn and focused in a story filled with heart-pounding action, escapes, and moments filled with danger. You will not be able to put this book down once you start reading.
