As he sets off on his investigation, he teams up with longtime buddy and NSI employee, Nathan Johnston. The two set off to investigate, only to find that everything is not what it seems. Betrayal, mayhem, murder and international espionage follow. The Chinese consulate seems to play a far larger role than it should. Diplomatic immunity can be a precious form of protection for criminals, but Will and Nathan are stubborn and determined.
