Mister Pushkin Springs into Action: 12 Springtime Tales by AC Michael is the fourth book in the Tales of Mister Pushkin series. It’s springtime for Mister Pushkin and Klem, and everyone knows what that means. It’s time for spring cleaning! These stories include Mister Pushkin taking a trip in a hot air balloon, spending a week at Emma’s house, April Fool’s Day, and chasing squirrels. Each story features a different adventure and new mischievous antics that often land Mister Pushkin in some trouble. Mister Pushkin has several delightful moments where he’s able to show off his heroic side when he helps to catch a thief and even lend a helping paw to Emma.
The theme of this collection is spring which ups the chaos and mischief in Mister Pushkin’s life with a vacation, thieves, and revenge on a vet. The springtime tales include more appearances from Bruce who is a toothless kitty that Mister Pushkin often sees through visits with Emma. Bruce provides a delightful balance with Mister Pushkin by having his own antics which include unraveling paper towel, tearing open coffee beans, and knocking over pots of basil. The inclusion of Bruce is a constant delight as he and Mister Pushkin aren’t quite friends, which adds several humorous moments between the two as slight nuisances in each other’s lives. Each tale finds Mister Pushkin causing new trouble for Klem which takes a toll in Mister Pushkin Sniffs Out Trouble when a trip to the zoo unveils an exciting conclusion in the catnapping scheme. Mister Pushkin Springs into Action is another delightful set of tales that are funny and full of heart with each new story adding a new adventure to the world of Mister Pushkin and his charming personality.
