I found the information in this book to be very interesting. John Culbertson presents many theories, most of which I had never heard of or considered. I can easily understand the notion that we pick up positive or negative energy from others. I’ve often been around someone and picked up “bad vibes.” For me, it is a “feeling.” If someone is in a bad mood, I can feel the mood before they even express it. Culberson spends much time discussing Auras.

I’ve never been able to see one, although I have tried. He explains what an Aura is and how it can be recharged or drained by those around you. Have you ever worked with someone that just seems to drain your energy? That’s, in part, what the author is talking about. He stresses that we need to control our thoughts He offers techniques to relax.

I have used energy patches off and on for the past year and they seem to work. I knew very little about the other topics in this book. Many of them remind me of pagan beliefs or witchcraft. Frankly, I don’t want to involve myself in that kind of stuff.

The author uses illustrations to make his point. This is a guide for beginners. Culbertson keeps the ideas simple and easy to understand. He carefully explains each concept.
