Something's Gotta Give (Tempered Steel Book 3) by Maggie Adams is a contemporary romance that puts a Casanova with the one woman who can resist his charms. Chance Coalson has always loved women, and women have reciprocated the love. No one in Grafton can defeat his charm. Except Georgia Haines. Georgia, Grafton's only female fire fighter, is wise enough to know that Casanovas like Chance aren't the kind of lovers that stick around for the long haul. She knows she isn't the kind of woman that can tame Chance. She isn't sure that type of woman even exists. But when Chance's business catches on fire, Georgia comes to his rescue. That is her job, after all. But is the mouth to mouth that is very similar to a kiss really about just her job? Or could there be more blossoming between these two characters?

I love the premise of Something's Gotta Give. Asking the question: how does someone with a bad reputation overcome that reputation and prove to a shy or more reserved person that he has changed? I also really liked that Georgia is a female firefighter. Usually in romances, readers think of hot, sexy, male firefighters, so this change is unique and refreshing. And yet the romance between the two characters is blissfully hot. Chance Coalson is a charmer, like the other Coalson men from previous stories, and this story does not disappoint in comparison.
