Originally from Trinidad, Shayaa Muhammad embraces his family legacy and the culture of his Caribbean home. In The Coo Coo Vegan, he discusses recipes handed down from his talented great-grandmother and uncles and he adds his own flair to the dishes. Without using meat or animal products, readers will learn how to make breakfast foods, smoothies, main dishes, sweets, and baked goods. Muhammad also includes a section on milks, marinades, and dressings. The author provides a list of ingredients, detailed cutting styles, and all the kitchen tools you will need. The Coo Coo Vegan is both a tribute to the skilled chefs in his family and a gift to aspiring cooks who share his love for well-made vegan dishes.
