Author Biography

Author of The Madness Analog, Carl Proujan has been writing, in one form or another, for most of his life. And yet, he still found time to letter in three sports, serve in the U.S. Army, work as a merchant seaman, set foot upon the South Pole, dip a toe into the Mediterranean, the Black Sea, and the Dead Sea, raise three children into adulthood, and write Secrets of the Sea, a non fiction book about undersea exploration, which has been translated into a number of languages -- all before completing an eBook novel.

With a degree in Chemistry and Biology from the City College of New York, Proujan has visited all of the world's continents save Australia.

The Madness Analog is his first novel.

The Madness Analog by Carl Proujan is an ambitious and thought-provoking thriller. It is part speculative fiction, and part good old-fashioned police detective novel with a huge dose of international espionage thrown in. It is a vast undertaking with scenes in Madrid, Paris, New York, and San Francisco to name but a few. There are a lot of characters in this novel, many of them from places maybe not so familiar to the average American. However, Mr. Proujan inks in their individual characteristics with a deft hand and makes all of them totally believable. The protagonist, Matt David, is a Mossad agent on loan to the FBI and stationed in New York. Matt is a smart, likable character with a tragic, somewhat mysterious past. We are drawn into his world and thoughts as he discovers a totally new type of terrorist plot - a terrorist plot so brilliantly conceived, and so cunningly carried out that America won't even know it has been attacked until it's too late.

I really liked this book. I am something of a world traveler and have been to many of the places featured in The Madness Analog. Carl Proujan is right on target in all his descriptions. He has carefully crafted a masterpiece of the terrorist-thriller genre. With the right promotion campaign, this book could easily become a bestseller and it is also easy to imagine it could be a blockbuster of a movie. The Madness Analog is that good.
