A Husband Out Of This World: A Failed Experiment by Deovandski Skibinski JR is a story set in a bizarre world where spells, magic, and everything supernatural is the order of the day. One day the strangest thing happened (strange even for this world); the chief scientist of this mystical world, Gabiro, transported a man from what one presumes to be earth into his world. Gabiro aimed to use the Buhraies spell to bring a husband to life for King Itagiba’s daughter, the second princess of Sanbi, Princess Maiara. The husband was to be according to Maiara’s liking, but, after completing the experiment, the proposed husband named Harry did not appear to be according to anyone’s liking, least of all Maiara. The story proceeds with the humorous and gory details of Harry’s meeting with the royal family, who appear to be everything but royal.

A Husband Out Of This World: A Failed Experiment by Deovandski Skibinski JR is a comical, unconventional and entertaining novel unlike any other I’ve read. I enjoyed the candid and unrestrained dialogue between the characters and found myself chuckling a few times, especially at Harry’s thoughts. The characters are all delightful, and I love King Itagiba’s daughters, who completely obliterate any conventional expectations of women. I enjoyed how the princesses’ characters contrast their mother’s sophisticated persona that she tried to maintain at all costs, despite her daughters and husband constantly embarrassing her. The scene with the royals having supper with Harry is hilarious. A Husband Out Of This World by Deovandski Skibinski JR is an unexpected delight that I enjoyed reading.

A Husband Out Of This World: A Failed Experiment is a work of fiction in the adventure subgenre. It is aimed at young adult readers and was penned by author Deovandski Skibinski Jr with illustrations by artist Mitsukiven. The book follows a strange man who has found himself in the unique position of having a new life in a deadly new world. Finding his way in this bizarre new life that he’s mysteriously woken up in, our hero must try to navigate the many new people he encounters along the way. Some of them are keen to help him find his way, but for others, his trusting nature and confusion about his situation could make him easy prey.

An exciting and fresh take on the fish out of water story archetype, here we have a tale that manages to parallel the reader's experience with that of the lead character, forging a relationship between the two that is difficult to achieve for many authors. Author Deovandski Skibinksi Jr’s decision to start in a world of magic without explaining the lore gives the reader the exact feeling of suddenly being thrown into a world outside of their own, and the later explanations that are given to the protagonist as they learn about the world mean that none of the outstanding lore that has been created for the story gets lost. A particular highlight of A Husband Out Of This World is the illustrations by artist Mitsukiven that are provided periodically and enhance the atmosphere of the story through visualizing characters and locations.

A Husband Out Of This World is a fantasy adventure novel by Deovandski Skibinski JR. While working on a tricky experiment, a mad scientist and his assistant witness an unforeseen disaster that leads to the presumable death of the scientist. In his place, however, a pot-bellied stranger appears seemingly out of nowhere. With no memories of his past, the stranger soon finds himself in a strange new world full of waifus, seductive maids, scheming kings and queens, and beautiful, condescending princesses. He is given the name of Harry and declared the new Sanbi-Eye of the Kingdom of Sanbi. Previously prophesied to marry one of the princesses, Harry must now instead battle one of them in a Gandew Duel. Will he be able to shrug off the people who want to manipulate him for their own nefarious ends?

Author Deovandski Skibinski JR. writes in a style clearly inspired by Japanese Shonen Manga, and it gives the narrative a graphic novel appeal that will delight comic book lovers. A Husband Out Of This World is a fast-paced fantasy adventure saga that has you constantly wondering what's going to happen next. The characters are colorful, with over-the-top quirks added to their personas, making them pop out of the pages and thoroughly entertaining to read. Harry is the ultimate underdog. He is the unassuming hero who must navigate the difficult world he has been unwittingly thrown into, with everyone wanting to use him for their own motives. I very much enjoyed the book and recommend it to comic book fans and adventure fantasy lovers.

A Husband Out of This World: Failed Experiment by Deovandski Skibinski is an adventure-fantasy novel set in the fictional kingdom of Sanbi. An eccentric scientist and his skittish apprentice are tasked with creating a human with fake and magical skin - a human that will appeal to a snooty Sanbi princess. When this experiment goes awry, a comedy of errors follows. The scientist turns into a feathery creature, and a man turns up at the experiment site with his previous memories erased. The king appoints this man as his daughter's suitor but with an ultimatum. Either he wins a duel against the haughty princess, or he will be enslaved. As the plot unravels, it becomes clear the experiment had very different motives, and the man may be a scapegoat. What awaits the poor man, and who will take this suspicious experiment forward?

Deovandski Skibinski's writing is vividly descriptive and detailed, which aids in world-building. It is also laced with humor, often slapstick, but amusing nonetheless. The comic timing of the characters' dialogue lends a relatable edge to them. Magical, unbelievable things are explained so that they can be easily understood. The plot is unique and although there is no tense unraveling of the story, it keeps the reader guessing where the novel is heading. Multiple characters inhabit the world, and they all have their respective quirks, making them stand apart. The narrative successfully creates a fascinating world that will be a strong foundation for future books in the series. The illustrations by Mitsukiven are interspersed throughout the text and appear when the imaginative writing requires visual representation. The graphics are colorful, intricate, and appealing. I would recommend A Husband Out of This World: Failed Experiment to readers who enjoy fantasy, magic, and adventure.

A Husband Out Of This World: A Failed Experiment by Deovandski Skibinski JR is a surprising young adult adventure about an unusual experiment. When a stranger wakes up in an unknown place from a near-soul death, he learns that he was the product of an experiment and that he was created for a princess. As he can't remember much about his previous life or who he really is, he doesn't know who to trust, what to do, or what he is capable of. However, Neferteri Sanbi Royal, the queen of Sanbi, and the king, Itagiba Sanbi Royal, tell him that he was created to marry one of their princesses. And this isn't all. The stranger's life depends on them and he has a choice to make. Will the stranger be able to choose what's best for him, or will he end up being used for the benefit of others?

I must admit that I'm not that familiar with the isekai, the Japanese genre of portal fantasy and science fiction. But A Husband Out Of This World: A Failed Experiment by Deovandski Skibinski JR really amazed me. Reading it was a real challenge, and I will not forget this riveting story so soon as every subchapter comes with a full-page illustration that nicely captures the characters and the genre's essence. There's a perfect balance of silliness, intrigue, and action in this light novel. Deovandski drops you straight into the action and lets you experience just a little taste of his unique world and the mystery around it. As A Husband Out Of This World is the first book in the series, I'm eagerly awaiting the new release.
