Robert Moment’s non-fiction motivational book, Always Believe in Yourself: How to Get Motivated to Do Anything, is a succinct read stocked with brilliant, noteworthy quotes from inspiring individuals; a thirty-day motivational challenge, consisting of one new daily task per day to be completed. Not to mention a bright and uplifting voice that brings you along the way from beginning to end. One of the quotes that resonated within me was on page 42: “Achieving your goals and succeeding in life, now, tomorrow, and in the future means taking your dreams, imagination, and aspirations and carrying them around with you daily.” It says a lot and sticks with you in just a few words. Definitely, something to print out and tape to the side of your computer to look at every day as a daily reminder.

Always Believe in Yourself: How to Get Motivated to Do Anything, by Robert Moment really spurred something within me. As with anyone, there are aspects of oneself that you want to change or alter so that you can be better, healthier, and happier. What I found to be the most helpful were the tasks listed in the thirty-day motivational challenge. I can really see how these would be beneficial for anyone who was to pick this book up off the shelf or online. I know that if I follow the challenge myself that I will be pointed more in the direction of where I want to be. Robert Moment’s Always Believe in Yourself will put you on your right directional path, I can almost promise you that.

Always Believe in Yourself: How to Get Motivated to Do Anything by Robert Moment is a self-help book that focuses on bringing you as much motivation as possible. The author shares some ideas, exercises, and challenges for you to motivate yourself and believe in yourself. The objective of this book is to keep you motivated, help you find your inspiration, believe in yourself, help you think positively (helping you put negativity aside) and give you challenges to keep yourself motivated. The best thing about this book is that nothing is glorified. The book asks you to take your time, take one challenge at a time, and then allow yourself to succeed at it. Achieving goals becomes much easier when you believe in yourself and allow yourself to have the courage to take a step towards your goals and dreams.

The author has done a good job of getting the message across and making sure that the challenges and the exercises are understandable to readers. The language, the choice of words, and the overall atmosphere of the book are very positive. You get a boost just by reading the encouraging words of the author. He builds you up, acts as your cheerleader and your hype man. He allows the reader to digest the information provided, helps them understand it and then implement it in real-life scenarios. I loved how the author put the focus on believing in yourself, allowing yourself to motivate yourself and simply make sure that you get to be the person you want to be. Very well done!

Always Believe in Yourself: How to Get Motivated to Do Anything by Robert Moment is a non-fiction self-help book built around the premise that all we need to achieve success in life to get motivated, remain motivated, and believe in yourself. So...how then does one get motivated? Moment has many ideas on this, including allowing yourself to focus on smaller things (the things that make you happy) in order to clear a path slowly toward the bigger picture, and more intensive recommendations, such as his 30-day motivational challenge. Each day has a challenge carved out of it. Some are not terribly difficult (for many, although probably not most), like actively finding something to make you smile. Others are a bit more uncomfortable (ie: openly expressing emotion).

Always Believe in Yourself is a solid book for those who struggle with self-confidence, motivation, and any of the emotional baggage that can hold readers back. Robert Moment, a life coach and author of multiple other books in the self-help genre, brings his experience and enthusiasm to the pages and shares stories of those who are able to succeed despite setbacks and issues that, at the time, may feel insurmountable. While the book is geared towards adults, I personally think the 30-day motivational challenge would be great to do with my teenage daughter. I don't see a single reason why this book, at the very least, wouldn't do anything but boost both of our spirits and lead us in a positive direction. Recommended.
