Caching In by Tracy Krimmer is a love story told from Ally Couper's point of view. Ally Couper is your average 29-year-old woman who is unhappy with her current job and who has just broken up with her long-time boyfriend after she found out that he was cheating on her. As Ally struggles to find the happiness she believes to be out of reach for her, she stumbles upon the hobby of geocaching (a hide and seek hobby). Through geocaching, Ally meets Seth Hayes, a veteran geocacher. As Ally and Seth's love story progress, be prepared to fall in love with their quirky friends and family as well as the characters themselves.
Caching In is a quick read and almost straight to the point. The beginning started off slowly, but then as I progressed through the story, I got more involved with the characters. At times the thoughts from Ally seemed very asinine, but once Tracy Krimmer got into the heart of the story I couldn't wait to read more. As the main character in the novel, Ally showed remarkable character growth, showing how people themselves are their own worst enemy and it's not just the thoughts that make the characters but their actions as well. Pick up this book if you want a quick read that will have you falling in love with and laughing at the characters' antics.
