Chelsea's Summer Escape by Mr. Frederick Andrews is a thrilling suspense novel set in London and exotic Greece. Chelsea is a bored housewife who jumps at the chance of adventure and lascivious behavior when she travels to Greece sans husband. Conceited regarding her feminine wiles, Chelsea sets out to get the excitement she so desperately craves. While sunbathing, she sees a man walk into the ocean and wonders if he has drowned. She is pleasantly surprised to discover he is alive and well when he approaches her at the taverna. Posnep tells Chelsea that she has saved his life, as he had planned to drown himself in the sea until he saw her lying in the sand. He informs her that she is the image of his dearly departed daughter, Maria. She throws caution to the wind and accepts his invitation to leave the hotel and stay at his palatial estate. Excited at the prospect of living a rich and luxurious lifestyle, Chelsea ignores her inner voice telling her that this man is dangerous. Chelsea fully intends on having Posnep's money and continuing on with her lewd encounters whenever possible, but will throwing caution to the wind come back to haunt her?

Chelsea's Summer Escape by Mr. Frederick Andrews kept me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. At every turn I felt fear for Chelsea, while simultaneously thinking that she was getting what she deserved for being such a selfish and wanton character. Posnep is a complicated character that leaves you guessing through much of the novel – is he twisted with desire for the woman who looks like his daughter, or is he simply saddened by her loss and looking to replace her? Chelsea's Summer Escape answers all the questions raised throughout and is shocking and justified in its conclusion.
