A gingerbread house, Santa in his sleigh, elves at work, Old Father Christmas, figures skating on the ice, and carollers – this and so much more all make up the spirit of Christmas. Monica Davis’s Christmas Holiday Collection has all these images and many more, drawn in great detail, just waiting to be colored and brightened for the holiday. It’s a busy time of year and sometimes we need to just sit back and do something quiet, entertaining, creative, and soothing – like coloring. It’s no longer just a craft for the very young. People of all ages enjoy the soothing relief of creating something beautiful, one color at a time. A Christmas-themed coloring book is just the thing to help ease the stress of the season.
Monica Davis’s coloring book, Christmas Holiday Collection, is a teens and adults coloring book. The artist has created timely images, all line drawn, very sophisticated, and with superb quality. The images are almost too good to spoil with color, but, as with all things in this season, one wants to see lots of bright colors to lighten the mood of the long, dark months of winter. Each image has a story to share, one that can be imagined as the coloring is completed. The glossy cover will attract potential coloring fanatics. Each image is on a new page with a blank page in between to prevent colors from bleeding through. This book will bring many calming moments to the otherwise very busy holiday season.
