Corona Here, Corona There, Corona, You Better Leave This Year! is about the Corona pandemic from a child's perspective, written by Nakeisha Maharaj and her ten-year-old son Cristofer Maharaj. It depicts a curious child's struggle with questions about the pandemic. The child does not understand where Corona comes from and why he cannot visit his other family members for the holidays. He admires the front-line workers and notices people losing their jobs and struggling financially. He does not go to school anymore, and all forms of gathering end. Despite this, he also sees love among families, people creating online businesses, learning the importance of life, and lending a helping hand. The book ends with the introduction of vaccines. Are they the hope for humanity?
