In Corrective Measures by Nadine Dandorf, the reader is catapulted into a world of intrigue, money laundering, love, and deceit in a story that involves the CIA and the FBI. Former CIA Assistant Director of Operations, Charlie O’Donnell, has left a very dirty legacy upon his death — he’s succeeded in swindling huge sums of money. Although the money has been recovered and the case closed, no one could have imagined him hiding millions under Daniella St. Sauveur’s name. Now, Dani could be facing the worst consequences for a crime she never committed. Her partner, Army Ranger Adrian Reilly, isn’t much help, so the only one to whom she entrusts her fate is a man who once left her in the cold. Here is a tale of love and loyalty, of crime, and a woman’s quest to establish her innocence under dire circumstances.
A great thriller with strong characters and a gripping plot, Corrective Measures by Nadine Dandorf puts the reader on the edge of their seat as they follow the characters. Corrective Measures is skillfully plotted and readers will enjoy the drama and the tension that builds up from one scene to the next. The plot is designed to keep the reader held in suspense until the very last minute. Nadine Dandorf is a great storyteller and she pays a lot of attention to economy of words. Her writing is superb and the descriptions are vivid and arresting. I couldn’t stop reading this, worried about what might happen to the protagonist. The twists are skillfully plotted into the narrative to create suspense and keep the reader turning the pages. It’s a great read.
