Dumped in Luck by Stephen Zanzucchi is filled with fun, excitement, humor, adventure, and many emotions that every human being experiences in life. Philip's girlfriend dumps him on the last day of school. He decides not to sit at home feeling low. Instead, he takes his cousin to the zoo. The fun-filled moments begin from there and the book takes you on a wonderful trip.

The author interprets the book's events with humor and comic moments. The lighter side of life is shown here, although initially there is a sad element due to Philip's break-up with his girlfriend. That does not dominate the story but it blends well with the subsequent events. The scenes in the zoo are appealing and amusing and every child will enjoy reading them. The fun does not stop there. There are more enjoyable moments in the story which really make you chuckle. The characters of Philip and Ben bring out a lot of laughs.

Dumped in Luck will take you on a roller coaster ride of many emotions - you can laugh, you can feel adventurous, and you can feel excitement running through your veins. The author has added all the ingredients to make it a lighthearted comedy.
