Eddy Reeves was a rising star in the legal world, until a mistake sent him falling from the top. Now, after seven years of taking clients that are usually the scum of the earth, he is once again in a position to lose everything he has ever worked for. He is being set up again to take the fall for something he’s not even a part of. But this turn of events might be his chance to clear his name from both his past and present mess. Will Eddy find the evidence he needs to clear his name before the bad guys find him? And will he get his life, job, and woman back? Find out in Eddy Falls by Darryl Sollerh.
Although Eddy’s job and personality don’t seem to be very moral, he is a likable character. Even after losing everything, he gets back up and tries again. He is still in the job he loves, at the same time, in some way getting revenge on those who did him wrong. That sounds vindictive, but I think Eddy is a really nice person, just dealt some bad luck. It was kind of sad and romantic that even after seven years, Eddy is still trying to prove his innocence to Sally (the love of his life). I liked how the story progressed and the way it ended. It was not what I expected but I liked it nonetheless. Eddy Falls is a fast paced and eventful story by Darryl Sollerh that definitely deserves a 5-star rating.
