Author Biography

Alexys V. Wolf is a wife and mother first and is in love with our most Holy God. She earnestly desires to assist people from every walk of life to come out of the darkness of religiosity and into the light of the Kingdom of God. Alexys began her ministry in early 2000, preaching in prisons. She has been a guest on TV, radio, and at conferences, as well as ministering to people globally. She founded The Fiery Sword Global Ministries, a 501c3 ministry, in 2007. In 2019, she founded The Fiery Sword Publications under TFSGM umbrella. In 2020, she began a YouTube broadcast, Better Together: Two Girls and a Bible, with her ministry partner, Sandy Renner. She has authored fifty+ books and has published many authors. Her mission statement is based on Jesus' words, found in Luke 4:18-19: "to preach the gospel to the poor, to proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free those who are oppressed, and to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord."
Alexys is also an artist. She began her art business in the mid-1990s while living in Saudi Arabia with her then-husband. She began painting and stippling [pointillism] for those who lived on the American compound. When she returned to the States in 1997, her art business soared. She formed the for-profit business The Camel's Brush, named for its Saudi inception. Her artistry shifted to writing in 2006. Extinguishing the Inferno of Anger by Alexys V. Wolf provides tools that readers need to break away from the destructive power of anger, a book that is as timely as it is relevant, with a powerful message that addresses one of the troubling realities that society faces today. The author shares insights about anger and other negative emotions that accompany it and explores some of its root causes like unrealistic expectations, unhealthy relationships, racism, and a lot more. While helping readers to understand their anger, Alexys V. Wolf proposes a method that gives readers the freedom to choose a healthy path to handling it and how they can use it to become empowered.

In the introduction, the author explains the purpose of this book: "In this book, I will address a plethora of scriptures about how to overcome anger, not just suppress it – there is a big difference between the two. The former will incite peace; the latter will ignite an inevitable explosion." Wolf skillfully combines scripture with real-life experiences to speak directly to readers' hearts. The book is focused with short chapters and powerful points for reflection. In a world that is filled with anxiety and where fear easily enters into the human heart, this book offers a light in the darkness and proposes a path towards abiding peace. Extinguishing the Inferno of Anger offers a portal through which readers can enter into dialogue with their emotional self and find freedom in positively taking control of their anger. A highly recommended read.
