Gemma's Fate: Immortal Breeders Book 1 by A.R. Vagnetti follows the tale of Gemma Christiana, a young and ambitious journalist looking for her next big story. As it happens, one almost falls into her lap although it comes with a whole lot more than what she expected. Now Gemma finds herself entangled with the handsome Sheriff Drake Silverton and an entire world of supernatural beings she didn’t even know existed. Lastly, the cherry on top of the messed up cake is that her fiancé is involved with a government organization that is looking to kill people…people like her.
The moment I saw the cover and read the synopsis for Gemma's Fate by A.R. Vagnetti, I immediately knew I would enjoy it. This book was everything that I love in a supernatural romance and more. The world-building and writing style were superb, and I found myself easily immersed in the story. The characters were also well-written and so easy to get attached to that I found myself having to pause at certain moments just to control my emotions. Added to that is the suspense, action, and just overall amazing plot. This book was so hard to put down and, despite having a busy schedule, I made time to read as much as I could until the end. Vagnetti knows how to tell a captivating story and that’s exactly what I was while reading Gemma's Fate; captivated. I highly recommend this book to all lovers of supernatural fiction and especially to any romance novel lovers.
