Elenor, a patchwork bunny, is sad after losing her favorite blanket. Her room is a mess of toys, books, games, and gizmos that she rarely plays with. With her room in such chaos, her parents suggest she might feel more comfortable living with the patchwork pigs. Elenor’s aunt comes to visit the family, but the little bunny is still too sad over her missing blanket to have much fun. Will Elenor find a way to enjoy her aunt’s visit despite not having her favorite blanket? Will the little bunny ever find her blanket, or is it gone? What should Elenor do? Find out in Just Enough written by Ranee Taylor and illustrated by Evgenia Malina.

Just Enough, by Ranee Taylor, is an adorable children’s story about Elenor and her favorite missing blanket. The characters are a family of bunnies that give Elenor advice and try to help her through her crisis. The illustrations by Evgenia Malina are beautiful works of art that kids will love as they read the story. I loved the messages that encourage kids to clean their rooms, store their favorite things safely, and give items they no longer need to those with very little. I recommend it to anyone with small children who love adventurous animals that are easy to identify within a family setting. The story is easy for kids to follow as they learn to read independently. I hope Taylor and Malina team up for future stories like this that teach kids important lessons in the early years.
