Kassarah lived a decent life, but they rescinded the scholarship, and she was desperate to raise funds for her nursing college fees. When all else failed, an opportunity to be a surrogate came up, and she grabbed it. But things went downhill from there, as she fell into the trap of a vengeful ex-wife, Nurse Natalie. There was a switch in the semen sample, and Kass got inseminated with the wrong goods. Natalie went a step further to introduce and dump Kass on her ex-husband, Mat, a fresh ex-convict. Mat was a struggling guy with a troubled childhood, and he never wanted kids. Who will go down in this crazy triangle? What is Kass’s fate? Find out the juicy details in this novel titled Love Is… by Katharine M. Sweet.
Love Is… by Katharine M. Sweet was humorous and engaging all the way. The first lesson taught by this book was PATIENCE! Holding on a minute more, a day more, a week more could eliminate impending catastrophe. Other themes explored in this novel include loyalty, bravery, acceptance, selflessness, and the gift of having a family. Love Is… started on a crazy note, and I was so angry at the unfair treatment Mat got from everyone. However, as the novel progressed, I fell in love. Expectant mothers will read this book and know that they aren’t alone. I loved the plot, development, dialogue, and writing style. Vinnie, Rex, and Izzy sucked me in with their sweet personalities. I also loved Kass and Mat the grump. Was that a cliffhanger in the epilogue? I want more.
