Love, Lies & Consequences by Natasha D. Frazier is a story filled with love, lies and romance that will keep readers glued to the pages. Raegan is happy with the life she is leading until she meets Rico. Though she does not believe in sex before marriage, she is sure she is going to marry Rico and doesn't think it is bad to indulge in sex with him. Things take a turn when she meets her college sweetheart, Caleb, who comes back into her life. Now Raegan has to make choices and, simultaneously, the story takes readers into the life of her good friend Tammy, who also gets a chance to make up with her estranged husband. What will both of them decide to do with the loves of their lives?
The book is a compelling read with a lot of twists, turns and unexpected happenings in the plot. All the characters are portrayed well. The manner in which Rico reconnects with Raegan again is relatable and very 'now.' Raegan's dilemma when it comes to choosing between Caleb and Rico, and her turmoil in deciding how to work out her life forms an integral part of the plot. The author makes readers go through the complexities of love and romance, and the lies and consequences that also form part of a relationship when the people in love are confused with the choices they make. The romance of Raegan and Rico has been developed well, and the romance of Tammy and her estranged husband gives another layer to the plot. A good story.
