Nicholas Sparks does not know how to write a bad book. Our hero in The Lucky One is U.S. Marine Logan Thibault. While serving in Iraq he finds a photograph of a woman with a dog. He feels a strange draw to the woman, as if she is a good lucky charm. After three tours in Iraq he begins the search for the woman in the photo, E.
After a series of mishaps he locates Elizabeth Greene. He and Elizabeth begin to date. He was already in love with the photo but soon finds himself in love with the real woman.
This is Nicholas Sparks’ 14th book. The Lucky One is a romance you will long remember. There is just the right amount of suspense mixed with romance to keep the reader turning pages. This story slowly builds to a climatic finish. Sparks did it again…he stirred my heart.
