How much are they willing to risk to get what they want? And what changes will they bring about together? Read Ethereal Bonds by Kent M. Schwendy to find out.
The first book of the Gauldarium Knight Saga by Kent M. Schwendy made me feel like I was reading four captivating tales rolled into one remarkable story. This book definitely stood out for its incredible world-building and also for the variety of characters that made each world feel alive and distinct from others. I was immersed in each of the protagonists’ backstories. I found Roweena’s story to be the most captivating. I liked how she had to find her own way after losing the people who mattered to her. Klarson, Delavon, and Seera’s stories were just as intriguing. They each had their own difficulties and problems, and such troubles made their tales more realistic. I felt Seera was the most earnest among them. I admired Klarson’s purpose-driven attitude, and Delavon was strong and practical. Ethereal Bonds had me invested from start to finish because there was always another question to be answered. The plot and pacing had a sense of adventure and uncertainty that made me keep reading because I wanted to know how everything could connect together and be resolved. This was excellent, and I am definitely looking forward to the second book.
