In a creatively written new book with a very unique premise, Milijun by author Clayton Graham explores a world in which true alien contact has been made with humans and the repercussions of just such contact. Protagonists Laura and Jason Sinclair, a mother and son duo, witness aliens coming to earth one night in Australia in 2179. After an experimental trial is begun in which hybrid embryos are implanted in human women, and in which Jason has become a genetic link, the continued involvement of humans and aliens seems inevitable. But when Jason is abducted by an alien swarm, and both the Australian Defence Force, and the head of the reclusive research facility, Milijun, seem to have ulterior motives for both him and the pregnant women, Laura realizes that it might be up to her to save them all, and maybe mankind as a whole.
I loved Milijun. This book was surprising, intriguing, and kept me reading obsessively throughout. Author Clayton Graham has done a great job in creating a read that is different from most in the science fiction genre, and even a prolific reader like myself was surprised. Any person who likes science fiction will love Milijun. I can very confidently recommend this book most highly, and I hope that author Clayton Graham is already hard at work on his next novel of this style. I will be keeping my eyes peeled for it, and am certain that any reader who picks up Milijun will do the same!
