I love a good medical thriller; it is one of my favorite genres. Peaceful Endings did not disappoint me. The setting is Rhode Island. The story takes place over a 60-hour period. The hospitals are full of patients complaining of extreme thirst and profuse sweating of the forehead. Many do not survive. Dr. Marilynn Harwell, trauma specialist, is on duty. Doug Talbot brings his daughter into the ER with the same symptoms.

From the prologue, it was obvious that General Thomas Uxbridge was going to be the antagonist in this excellent thriller. If I continue, I will give away too much of the plot. This is a must-read. The action never stops. I could not put this book down. Medical thriller, conspiracy novel, action-packed, frightening, and romance are all words that describe this book. If this is Michael Tucker’s first novel, I can hardly wait to see what he creates as a seasoned author. His next book is coming out in early 2010. I’m not sure I can wait that long. Do not miss out on this one. Rush to your favorite bookstore for your copy.
